Bambinuto Cellars: “Shadows and Lights” on land products

In our paths of emotional tasting we arrived in Santa Paolina, Irpinia, in  a territory rich in Greco di Tufo and in the Azienda a Bambinuto we faced  this richness.

It is here, precisely in this territory rich and full of a unique product not easy to appreciate and not immediate, we got involved and excited by the voice of Joni Mitchell that in his record work “Shadows and Light”

This disc accompanied us in this path with the products of this company.

Two women wrapped in “shadows and Lights”

shadowsIf there is a general theme of these songs, it is about aging and maturing after a “defeat” but getting up and learning to the fullest to strengthen oneself.

A leitmotif that in the accounts of the owner we found: strength, determination, novelty.

“Shadows and Light” is certainly the most innovative album by Joni Mitchell and for this reason lovers and connoisseurs of the music of the artist have made and have difficulty to appreciate and taste the musical masterpiece proposed in this recording all live.

A “Super band” to accompany it: The legendary bassist Jaco Pastorius, the guitar star Pat Metheny, the keyboardist often collaborator of Metheny, Lyle Mays, the illustrious saxophonist Michael Brecker and the drummer Don Alias, already collaborator of Miles Davis. To be sure to approach Mitchell through this disc is not very simple, as it can not be easy to approach a Greek like that of Bambinuto, because it embodies the essence of a product born with those characteristics: not blunt, fresh, sometimes distant From the collective imagination.

And here are the two works of two women who have with them a “super band” and have decided to propose a fascinating product wrapped among those shadows that are created with fatigue, small daily battles, waivers; But brought to the fore by the lights of tenacity and will.
